Hola Everyone!

We are now less than one month away from the big celebration in Barcelona!

From your emails, text messages, and phone calls we know that the group is as excited as we are to pack up our bags, board an airplane, and start the party!

We’ve also received a number of questions recently that we hope our latest updates to the website will help to address:

Question #1: You have shared several great restaurant suggestions in Barcelona, but do you have any recommendations for somewhere to go for a drink before or after dinner?

Please see our recently added guide to ‘day drinking in Barcelona’

Questions #2: I’m not fully fluent in Catalan yet. Will I be able to communicate in Barcelona?

Good News – Barcelona is extremely tourist friendly and 99.99% of the time you will be able to communicate in English, particularly in the hotels, restaurants, taxis, shops, and at tourist attractions. For those our you who are interested however, you might consider also downloading the Google Translate application to your smart phone. A description of this extremely handy travel tool has also been added to our website.

Question #3: Do you have any more photos from your past adventures in Barcelona that you can share?

Please check out the updated library which now includes photos from our first trip to Barcelona in May 2017. We’ve also included a few photos from Jeff’s first trip to Spain 20 years ago.

As always, if you have any questions about Barcelona, travel logistics, or our itinerary for the weekend, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We want everyone in our group to have the smoothest, safest, and most enjoyable experience in Barcelona in late May
