



Barcelona is home to some of the best restaurants in world and it is not difficult to find a great meal anywhere in the city. English speaking servers and menus are plentiful. Dinner service only gets into full swing around 10pm (although an earlier seating may be possible in some locations), but you will want to consider the timing of your meals throughout the day.
Reservations are highly recommended for dinner. Below are a few restaurants that you might was to consider:
- Bar Canete: A classic Barcelona tapas restaurant, which consistently features of lists of the best in the city.
- Tapa Tapa or Txapela: These tapas restaurant chains can be found throughout Barcelona, and are great for a tasty lunch when out touring the city
- El Quarte Gats: Traditional Catalan food with some great local history. Many of Barcelona’s most famous artists have frequented this restaurant (often trading artwork to settle their bar bills)
- Suculent: We haven’t tried this restaurant yet, but it is highly recommended by locals who appreciate great food
- Nacional – A large and busy dining venue with lots of great menu options
- Asador de Aranda: Located in Tibadabo area, this beautiful restaurant specializes in lamb and pork dishes cooked on an open flame.
- Harry’s: Located minutes from Hotel Actual, this Italian restaurant is considered to be the best in Barcelona
- El Xalet de Monjuic, La Venta, Resaurante Mirabe, Torre d’alta mar: All offer amazing views of Barcelona in addition to a great meal.
